How it works ... and why.

When you sign up, a small "cookie" file will be created on your computer to store your customization and login settings, username and email address; so they'll be used every time you visit the site. When you post a comment, your username, email address and comment are sent to our database so that we can contact you, should there be an issue regarding your post. Don't worry, your email address will not be made public.

Are you finding that The Daily Jolt consistently forgets who you are and that even when you fill out the login form you still don't seem to be logged in? If so, you probably need to enable cookies in your web browser (the option is usually in Preferences under "Advanced").
